Si alguna vez  leyeron este libro con placer, seguramente van a adorar la película Medianoche en París, de Woody Allen.

As soon as the picture was over, a thought came to my mind. Something I read somewhere, it goes like this: "If you want to know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders"

Inmediatamente en que se acabó la peli, me vino a la mente un pensamiento que leí en algún lado, dice así: "Si quieres saber dónde está tu corazón, busca a dónde va tu mente cuando divaga."

Don´t you love it when people know you so well that their presents just nail it?

The postcard was from my traveler sister in law and the tea cups from my mother in law.

No les encanta que la gente las conozca tan bien, que cuando les dan un regalo es exactamente lo que ustedes hubieran escogido?

La postal me la trajo mi cuñada viajera y las tazas de té, me las dio mi suegra.

 Mother's Day is coming here in Costa Rica and as you read this, the shopping centers must be about to burst!

Surprisingly this year I got a few days a head and chose these feminine items for the loving women in my life...

Ya viene el Día de La Madre y mientras leen esto, los centros comerciales deben estar a punto de reventar!

Contra todos los pronósticos, este año hice las compras con antelación y escogí estos detallitos tan femeninos para las mujeres amorosas en mi vida...

I hope they like them as much as I do because I'm tempted to keep it all to myself!

Sugar rush!

When was the last time you had one?

Mine was in 2007, someone´s birthday at my old office. We had too much cake and I felt I could totally walk on the roof....

Up in the sky

When I was very little I thought when people went away on an airplane the travel just consisted on flying up in the sky and didn't understand they actually arrived somewhere. My husband got on a plane on sunday and I still keep looking up... Just thinking how much I miss him.

Cuando yo era muy pequeñita creía que cuando la gente se iba de viaje, se quedaba en el avión volando por el cielo y no entendía que llegaban a algún destino. Mi esposito se fue en un avión el domingo y yo sigo buscando en el cielo...Pensando en lo mucho que lo extraño. 



My not so little sister

My sister Sofía turned 18 and wanted to go for a haircut...makes me feel kind of old,maybe too old

She was a little anxious about a big change...

But she certainly wasn´t alone! There was my mom with her cool glasses...

My brother and his girlfriend...

Even my husband, my boy and me.

I bet you've never seen a family this supportive!

So we all waited there trying not to fall asleep,actually it was a hip place with loud music...

At the end...

She looked gorgeous and happy too!

And her cheerleading team was ready for pizza!!

We decided to go have dinner at an italian restaurant my son loves, because the weiter hands him a piece of dough every time we go, since he was two years old!

It was a cozy, little charming dinner
